Linco Communications Ltd. in partnership with Lancaster City Council are proud to announce the launch of its annual Walk the Talk Challenge Award scheme for primary schools.
Linking into the Every Child Matters launched by the Government in 2003, Linco's Walk the Talk Challenge Award challenges primary schools to improve the lives of children and to make a difference to their local communities and environment. This is a project with a difference because it will be managed and directed by the children with support from adults in a mentorship capacity. The Award will be run in 3 phases across Lancaster City Council boundaries:
Year 1: 2009 Seaside Town of Morecambe,
Year 2: 2010 Rural Areas
Year 3: 2011 City of Lancaster
Each year the winning school in this exciting Award Scheme will receive
£1,000
Participating schools will each be awarded vouchers from Lancaster City Council
